ABOUT

Born in Cleveland OH, and raised in Kansas, Maxwell Fr!sh picked up a camera during his summers in France in 2012, living amongst Russian clowns, inspiring creativity and wonder. Fr!sh's passion drives him to capture happiness in life’s magic moments. 

 

While attending University at Wichita State, Fr!sh would hustle in between classes as a real estate photographer and worked in live broadcast with companies like ESPN, CBS, and UFC. He would also explore Europe working with the internationally renowned clown theatre, Slava’s Snow Show,

 

After graduating with honors, Fr!sh took up a mentorship with Cinematographer, Justin Cary, owner and operator of Midwest Film Company. A film lab specializing in 35mm, Kodak motion picture film processing and scanning. Under Cary, Fr!sh would operate as 1st Assistant Cinematographer and Photographer for All Things BBQ, an online outdoor kitchen supplier, featuring a cooking show, The Sauce, staring Chef Tom Jackson. Projects expanded outside the kitchen, taking on commercial and narrative clients such as Textron Aviation, Bombardier Learjet, Beretta, Koch Industries and Yoder Smokers. 

 

As live music was beginning to come back to life, Fr!sh would take residency as a Lighting Director and Photographer for an outdoor/indoor music venue, working over 100 shows featuring the likes of Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Dierks Bentley, Incubus, The Wailers, and Rancid. Now he works as tour photographer for national touring bluegrass band, Pretend Friend.
